Important: PhotoManager provides intelligent suggestions for photo management. All deletion, archival, and organization actions require your explicit confirmation. You are solely responsible for reviewing and confirming any action before it is executed.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using PhotoManager (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the developer of PhotoManager ("Developer", "we", "us", or "our").
2. Description of Service
2.1 What PhotoManager Does
PhotoManager is a photo management application that:
- Analyzes your photo library using on-device machine learning
- Generates cleanup suggestions based on configurable rules (duplicates, screenshots, low-quality images, etc.)
- Provides tools to organize photos into albums
- Executes actions (delete, archive, keep) only after your explicit confirmation
2.2 What PhotoManager Does NOT Do
- Automatically delete or modify photos without your consent
- Upload your photos to any server or cloud service
- Share your photo data with third parties
- Guarantee 100% accuracy in suggestions
3. User Responsibilities
Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for reviewing all suggestions and confirming any action. The Developer is not liable for any data loss resulting from your use of the App.
3.1 Review Before Action
Before confirming any cleanup action, you should:
- Review the photos marked for deletion or archival
- Understand the consequences of each action
- Ensure you have backups of important photos (we recommend using iCloud or another backup service)
3.2 Understanding Deletion
- Deleted photos are moved to the "Recently Deleted" album in iOS Photos
- Photos in "Recently Deleted" are permanently removed after 30 days by iOS
- You can restore photos from "Recently Deleted" within the 30-day window
- After 30 days, recovery may not be possible
3.3 Bulk Actions
When using bulk action features (e.g., "Delete All" for a category):
- Review the summary of items to be affected
- Understand that bulk actions apply to all selected items
- Consider processing large batches in smaller groups
4. No Warranty
Provided "AS IS": PhotoManager is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
4.1 Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE DEVELOPER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Accuracy: We do not guarantee that cleanup suggestions will be 100% accurate or appropriate for your needs.
- MERCHANTABILITY: No warranty that the App will meet your requirements or be suitable for your purposes.
- FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE: No warranty that the App will achieve specific results you expect.
- NON-INFRINGEMENT: No warranty that the App will not infringe third-party rights.
- DATA LOSS: No warranty that the App will prevent data loss or photo deletion errors.
4.2 Suggestion Accuracy
The App uses automated analysis and rule-based algorithms to generate suggestions. These suggestions may:
- Mark photos you want to keep as candidates for deletion
- Miss photos you might want to delete
- Produce different results on different devices or after iOS updates
Always review suggestions before confirming any action.
5. Limitation of Liability
Limitation of Liability: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
5.1 Scope of Limitation
The Developer shall not be liable for:
- Loss, deletion, or corruption of photos or videos
- Mistakes or errors in cleanup suggestions
- Actions you confirm or execute through the App
- Issues arising from iOS updates or PhotoKit changes
- Device compatibility issues or App malfunctions
- Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
5.2 Maximum Liability
In jurisdictions that do not allow the above limitations, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any), or USD $10, whichever is greater.
5.3 Class Action Waiver
You agree that any dispute arising from these Terms will be conducted on an individual basis, not as part of a class action or representative proceeding.
6. Subscriptions and Payments
6.1 Pricing
If the App offers premium features via subscription or one-time purchase:
- Prices are displayed in the App and on the App Store
- Prices may vary by region and are subject to change
- All payments are processed by Apple App Store
6.2 Subscription Terms
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
- You can cancel anytime in App Store settings
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- No refunds for partial subscription periods
6.3 Refunds
Refund requests are handled by Apple according to App Store policy. Contact Apple Support for refund inquiries.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Our Rights
The App, including its code, design, algorithms, and documentation, is owned by the Developer and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
7.2 Your Rights
You retain all rights to your photos, videos, and personal data. The App does not claim any ownership or license to your content.
7.3 License Granted
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
8. Prohibited Uses
You agree NOT to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the App
- Remove any proprietary notices or labels from the App
- Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
- Use the App to infringe any third-party rights
9. Third-Party Services and Links
9.1 Apple Ecosystem
The App integrates with iOS system frameworks (PhotoKit, Vision, Core ML). Use of these frameworks is subject to Apple's terms and privacy policy.
9.2 Third-Party Links
The App or documentation may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites.
10. Updates and Modifications
10.1 App Updates
We may update the App from time to time. Updates may:
- Add new features or functionality
- Fix bugs or improve performance
- Modify or remove existing features
10.2 Terms Changes
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
11. Termination
11.1 By You
You may stop using the App at any time. To remove all data, delete the App from your device.
11.2 By Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to others.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
For users in the European Union, mandatory local law provisions apply.
13. Dispute Resolution
13.1 Informal Resolution
Before pursuing formal legal action, please contact us at support@photomanager.app. We will attempt to resolve disputes informally within 30 days.
13.2 Small Claims Court
Either party may bring a claim in small claims court if the amount in dispute qualifies under applicable law.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
15. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Developer regarding the use of PhotoManager.

The following terms apply as required by Apple Inc.:
- No End-User License Agreement (EULA) Restrictions: This App is licensed, not sold, to you by Apple.

- Product Claims: The Developer (not Apple) is responsible for addressing product claims.
- Intellectual Property Infringement: If the App infringes third-party IP, the Developer (not Apple) will be responsible.
- Data Privacy: The Developer is responsible for compliance with applicable data privacy laws.
